The Assam board HSLC or class 10th results have been declared today. The exams were held in the February and March.

The exams kick started on Thursday, February 13, 2014 and ended on Thursday, March 6, 2014. The first exam to be held was Social Science and the last exam to be conducted was practical examination of the Subjects Garment Designing, Cane and Bamboo Technology, Music, Dance, Home Science, Agriculture, Textile Design & Clothing and Wood Craft.
The students were given ten minutes extra-time from 8:50 am to 9:00 am to read the question paper only. The exam was held for a duration of three hours from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
However, the exam for the subjects Assamese, Bengali, Hindi and Urdu MIL for High Madrassa candidates was for 50 marks and held for a duration two hours.
Also the Assam HSC or class 12th results are likely to be announced on May 30, 2014.
The Assam HSC Class 12th Arts, Commerce and Science stream result on the other hand will be released by Higher Secondary Education Council on May 30 at 10 am.
Almost four lakh candidates had appeared for the Assam HSC 12th exams. The exams began on February 12, English being the first subject and ended on March 13 with History. There were two shifts for the exams, some exams were scheduled for the morning shift i.e. 9 am to 12 noon and some were conducted in the afternoon shift i.e. 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
