North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, has invited interested and eligible candidates to enrol for its LL.M admissions for the academic session 2015.
The University was established by an Act of Parliament and notified on July 19, 1973. The beautiful exquisite land, which is thickly wooded and is a perfect location for the university was a gift from the Government of Meghalaya. NEHU has two campuses, one at Mawkynroh-Umshing, Shillong, and another at Chandmari, Tura.
Eligibility criteria
The applicant must have secured at least 55 per cent (for general candidates) and 50 per cent (for SC/ST candidates in LL.B or equivalent examination.
Selection procedure
An entrance test would be conducted to shortlist the candidates.
Application procedure
Interested candidates can get the prospectus with prescribed application forms from the Receptionist, Administrative Building, Permanent Campus, Shillong - 793022.
These can also be obtained from the office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor, NEHU, Tura Campus, Tura-794002 on payment of Rs 600 and Rs 300 (for SC/ST category) through university challan or can be downloaded from the university website.
The applicants are supposed to send the filled application form along with the copy of e-challan to 'Head of Departments, NEHU, Permanent Campus, Mawkynroh-Umshing, Shillong-793022 or NEHU, Tura Campus, Chandmari, Tura - 794002'.
